LocoMobi World’s “WorldStream” Goes LIVE for New Mixed-Use Community Development “Metalworks” in Guelph

Toronto, ON – LocoMobi World is proud to announce that its Smart Parking Management System, WorldStream, is now live as the official tenant and visitor parking solution for The Anthem, the fourth phase of the highly anticipated Metalworks development in Guelph.

The Metalworks has become one of the most talked-about developments in the city’s history—sparking conversation from barstools to city hall. As Guelph prepares for a new era of urban growth, this project marks a major turning point. What once stood as a hub of industry for over 150 years is being transformed into a dynamic, modern community along the riverside.

Just steps from Guelph’s vibrant downtown core, Metalworks residents can easily enjoy the city's rich character on foot. Yet with 30,000 square feet of on-site entertainment, shopping, dining, and cultural attractions, downtown becomes an option—not a necessity. The Metalworks is set to become a destination of its own, offering an urban lifestyle previously unseen in Guelph.

Smart Parking, Seamlessly Integrated

In addition to managing tenant and visitor parking, LocoMobi World will implement paid parking systems at the site, designed to maximize limited public spaces. The setup includes gated access with entry ticket machines, License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, and exit payment stations.

LocoMobi’s Passage Pass enables mobile payments and frictionless entry and exit—users simply drive in and out, and their credit card is automatically charged without stopping.

Frictionless Access for Residents and Guests

LocoMobi’s CondoPark, controlled via the WorldStream Cloud Portal and powered by LPR Express, automates parking garage access by scanning license plates. Residents can log in remotely to manage guest access and reserve spaces, offering a streamlined and secure experience.

With a 99.9% read accuracy, LocoMobi’s LPR technology eliminates unauthorized access, removing the need for fobs or keycards—no more shared or cloned credentials. Property managers can monitor activity, equipment, and reporting in real-time from one central dashboard.

LocoMobi World has also launched Mobi, its robotic division, which enhances both parking enforcement and property security.

“This is a major shift for Guelph. With limited public parking and a growing community, full optimization is key—and that’s exactly where we shine,” says Grant Furlane, Founder and CEO of LocoMobi World.

Expanding the Smart City Network

LocoMobi World continues to connect tenants and visitors through its growing smart transportation ecosystem. Soon, residents and guests will be able to navigate across the city with exclusive offers and connected services—all through the LocoMobi World network.
