Locomobi to Move all Manufacturing to Canada including Mobi 2.0 Robot

For Immediate Release

Toronto , Canada — Locomobi, a Toronto-based company, has announced that it will be consolidating all of its manufacturing operations from China and other locations to the Niagara Region in Canada. This move is part of the company's commitment to producing 100% Canadian-made products. The Mobi 2.0 robot, which is used for parking enforcement and management, will also be built at the same factory. This decision is expected to create jobs in the Niagara Region and boost the local economy. The move is also in line with the current trend of companies bringing their manufacturing operations back to North America. Locomobi's decision to manufacture locally will also reduce transportation costs and carbon emissions associated with shipping products from overseas. Overall, this is a positive development for Locomobi, the Niagara Region, and Canada's manufacturing sector. Locomobi World presently designs, engineers, and builds many of its systems in Canada, including all its software and LPR systems.

“ Its truly an exciting time for the company and Canada:” says CEO and co founder Grant Furlane ,” I feel Canada has so many great opportunities and is becoming a technology hub.”

The company’s head office will remain in Mississauga while the plant will be in the Niagara Region where Mr. Furlane resides. Locomobi President Brian Storrie will oversee both operations. Mr.Furlane is reviewing several locations with plans to start manufacturing in Niagara by the second quarter 2024.
