We are pleased to announce that Mark Zimmerman, CEO of RSPNDR, will be the next speaker on TheSmartCity.Blog podcast on September 22nd, 2021, and will talk about the digitalization and automation of physical security and transportation.

Mark Zimmerman is CEO of RSPNDR, where he leads an exceptional team reimagining the physical side of the security business.

RSPNDR is his fourth start-up.  Before RPSNDR, he was a key leader at Netcom (an internet access company sold to AT&T),  Nextair (a wireless software platform sold to Blackberry) and ConnectedN (a B2B social media platform sold to LinkedIn).

He has also held senior sales, marketing, solutions development and innovation roles at Bell and AT&T and CIO and CTO roles at MaRS and T4G.

He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.  In his (copious) spare time, he mentors young entrepreneurs through MaRS and the Richard Ivey School of Business.
