Darryl Sittler, 1989 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, concluded the Canadian Self Storage Association’s (CSSA) 10th annual Eastern Canadian Conference, with an inspirational speech on the power of motivation, perseverance and adaptation. Sittler was at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to support LocoMobi’s sponsorship of the CSSA’s annual conference, of which he is a presiding Board Member and investor.
Having made significant strides to position himself within the ranks of the hockey elite, Sittler, former Toronto Maple Leaf Captain, is no stranger to hard work. His devotion and strong work ethic led to continuous success throughout his career, earning him a well-deserved spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame. “Diligence and determination are integral to achieving goals in any sphere,” says Sittler, “LocoMobi shares these ideals, and is a devoted and passionate team.”
It is LocoMobi’s ideals of diligence and determination that led to its official sponsorship of the CSSA’s 10th annual Eastern Canadian Conference, as it believes the industry should be educated on the availability of tools that optimize and improve everyday operations. Leveraging the benefits of its cloud based product offerings – namely the Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) software and its patented mobile application, QuickPay – to regulate access and maximize security. Utilizing the technology-driven solutions enables reliable and efficient off-site management; providing full accountability with real-time snapshots of single to multiple facilities, all from the convenience of a handheld device.
“Technology is rapidly evolving, offering forward-thinking practices of management and operation that can be adapted for any industry – including self-storage,” says Grant Furlane, LocoMobi Co-founder and CEO. “It is crucial for businesses to adapt to changing conditions and expectations in order to remain competitive in today’s marketplace.”
LocoMobi, Inc. is reinventing parking and transportation technology in the era of cloud, mobile, low-cost hardware and the Internet of Things. LocoMobi was the first to offer a cloud-based license plate recognition (LPR) system, with a complete revenue engine that also provides a management system for virtual permitting systems, violation and citation management. In addition, LocoMobi designs and implements a complete suite of traditional parking systems. This, combined with its state-of-the-art LPR system, has significantly increased the parking assets of its partners, which include major parking operators across North America.
LocoMobi’s innovations have garnered it worldwide attention after being awarded for 2014 TiE50 Best New Technology, Silicon Valley’s premier annual award ceremony, contested by thousands of technology start-ups worldwide.
